About Us

Placing Your Order.

You may place your order online, by phone or in person by visiting our showroom. These terms and conditions apply to each method.

If you have given a valid email address, you will be sent a confirmation of your ordered products and delivery address directly after ordering. Please review this information paying careful attention to any vehicle details, colours or other specific options you have specified. Also verify the delivery address you have entered is valid. Notify us by phone or email asap if you notice an error, as we can only edit these details before your order has been processed.

We accept most UK registered debit and credit cards (inc Solo, Meastro and Electron) and you may also pay using your PayPal account, for orders up to £50 in value – but only if you are a verified paypal member. We cannot accept Cheques or Postal Orders.

UK mainland delivery is included in the price indicated on the website. We regret we are unable to ship outside the UK . If you order from outside the UK without first contacting us,  it is likely your order will be refunded and order cancelled. In some instances foreign orders will be refunded less 5% to cover our card processing costs.

Whilst as a rule, we do not deliver outside the UK mainland; occasionally we may be able to accommodate special requests for non UK mainland deliveries. In these situations we will advise you of the additional delivery costs charged by our, or our suppliers delivery merchants. In addition, should your order be applicable for VAT exemption - an administration charge of 5% will be charged to your payment card. This fee is charged as we have to make a special trip to the post office as well as complete additional paper work that becomes very time consuming. We politely remind you that it is not our usual practice to ship outside the UK mainland, which we make very clear throughout the online ordering process and in our terms and conditions. However, we are happy to do all we can - when possible - to consider special alternative delivery options for customers who do not reside within the UK mainland. VAT exemption is not automatically discounted, as our systems do not recognize non UK mainland addresses. Should you wish for your order to be amended to accommodate VAT exemption, then you will need to notify us within 7 days of placing your order. 

All credit card transactions online and over the phone are processed using secure methods.

All products advertised for sale online are subject to availability. Your payment method will be debited at time of ordering regardless of current stock availability. This ensures that the stock can be allocated to an authorised transaction once available. We reserve the right to remove, amend or modify any product, description or price at any time.

Also please note that due to different monitor definitions; colours depicted on screen may vary slightly from the actual colour of the product.

You should assume that all items listed for sale on our website are ‘universal fitting’ unless we otherwise state they will be supplied to fit your car specifically.

Universal Fitting suggests that there is no application guide for the product. If it wont fit directly, then it can usually be adapted or adjusted to fit any vehicle. It may fit some vehicles better than others, and it might require less effort or modification to fit some cars than others. There is also a chance it wont fit at all. You should satisfy yourself that such a product will be suitable for your needs prior to placing your order, either online or by phone.

Of course this does not apply to any products that are described as being supplied specifically for a certain vehicle, assuming you enter or tell us the correct information.

Canceling Your Order.

You may of course cancel your order at anytime prior to dispatch except in the case of special order / made to order items that have been specially produced; for example, tailored car mats and window film etc. Whilst we cannot guarantee at what point such an order will be produced, we can only advise you to email us as early as possible to enable the best chance of canceling an order before it is too late. To cancel your order you must call our sales team on 01202 519675 where verbal confirmation will be given and your order amended accordingly . Please do not rely on emailing in such an event as we cannot guarantee if or when these will be received and actioned allowing for technical errors and volume of emails received.


Accepting Delivery.

Our estimated maximum waiting time for delivery of 'stock items' is aprx 2 - 10 working days. Please allow longer for special order products. Refer to item description for further details.

You can track the progress of your order, and the point at which it was dispatched, online using the links from our website for ‘track my order’ .

As when ordering anything online or by phone that requires delivery, you must take responsibility for accepting the delivery. For example, should an item require signing for or be too large to fit through your letter box; if you are not in to accept delivery then your delivery may be taken back to a local sorting office or courier company storage hub. In this instance you are likely to be required to arrange collection of your delivery yourself. Should any part of your order or delivery be returned because you could not accept it, or failed to collect during the timescale permitted by the appropriate delivery company; then you may be liable for a re-delivery charge as the order is likely to be returned to us, or our suppliers.

Please remember, it is not possible for us to guarantee a delivery time or date. The delivery person will not be authorised by us to leave at any alternative address (or location) other than that specified on your order . For example, it is unlikely a driver will be able to act upon ‘leave next door’ or ‘leave in shed’ notes if a signature is required – as of course, this would not offer a secure proof of delivery.

If you are worried that you will not be able to accept delivery at your usual home or invoice address, we suggest you specify an alternative address for delivery. In most cases this will be accepted for orders under £100.00 in value; subject to a full credit / debit card data match, (eg: you must specify the correct card holder / invoice address and post code, CVN number and a land line phone number for card holder address).


If Your Order Is Delayed.

If parts of, or your complete order is unlikely to be delivered within 10 working days of your order being received, we will do our best to either email and let you know, or update your tracking information.

However, as we may not always be aware you are still waiting for a delivery, please reply to the email you where sent after ordering (which will contain details of your order and reference code etc) explaining exactly what you are still waiting for. We will then look into the delay as a matter of priority.


If Your Order Arrives Damaged or Incorrect.

We would never pretend things wont ever go wrong. When they do, we ask you give us the opportunity to put them right.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please call or email us within 48 working hours to let us know. We will then either ask you to post back the product, or arrange to collect it from your address. Once received, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent.


If You Decide To Return An Item For Refund, Same or Lesser Priced Exchange.

''Under the conditions set out by the Distant Selling Regulations, governed by the office of fair trading, you have up to 7 working days from date of delivery to return an item that you decide not to keep. This agreement excludes personalised goods or goods made to a consumer's specification and goods that cannot, by their nature, be returned.''

''It remains your responsibility to return the item to us 'as new' with all original packaging and instructions, and cover the cost of doing so. For your own protection, we advise you to use a method of delivery that offers you proof of delivery.''

In addition to the Distance Selling Regulations we advise the following

We will gladly consider most products for return, within 14 working days of placing your order. Exceptions may be enforced for certain electrical items, products that have been specially produced to order (eg: car mats, window film etc) and other accessories that have been used or fitted in any way.

To be considered for a full refund (less deductions as shown below) then the item should obviously be returned un-opened (or at least re-sealed neatly) , as new and with all original fittings, packaging and instructions etc.

We advise you to first email or call to confirm you we will accept your order back, and ask that you must enclose a note confirming name, address and reason for return etc.

In most cases, any credit will be made direct to the payment method originally used either less our full or a contribution towards our original postage costs, and / or in some instances a ‘re-stocking’ fee that will compensate us for costs involved in processing the original order, or returning your product to the original supplier . This may be between 10 – 25% of the items retail price.

Please note that the return postage will be your responsibility and met at your own expense. We advise that you use a method of postage that offers some form of proof of delivery so you have evidence the item has been received back at our stores.

If you require an exchange, the cost of re-delivering will be charged at cost. For example; if you are returning an item for which you do not want a replacement sending then we will refund you minus our original postage and packing costs. If you wish to return an item with a view to exchanging for an alternative option; you will be credited or charged the balance as appropriate - in addition to being charged our re-delivery costs at cost. 

Please note, in line with official guidelines - we have up to 30 days to action any refund.

Unless otherwise advised, you should return your order to us at the below address. Please do not return any item direct to any GB Driver supplier without first being advised to do so.

Using Your Email Address For Emailing News and Special Offers.

As a genuine, independent business; it is in our own interest to do all we can to promote our goods and services to customers who have previously made an enquiry or a purchase.

Therefore, from time to time, we might send you an email telling you about up coming offers or discounts etc. We appreciate not everyone may want to get these emails, and upon getting your first – simply follow the instructions within it to ask us to remove your details from our database. You can also email us at any time to add you request for removal to our next up date. Simply send a blank email to stop@gbdriver.co.uk from the same email address (or giving information of) used at time of purchase.
